Ben Stiller brought blue steel back to the runway at Paris Fashion Week when he and Owen Wilson strutted their stuff as Derek Zoolander and Hansel at the Maison Valentino show, officially announcing the sequel to their beloved 2001 comedy, Zoolander. Rumors of a Zoolander sequel have been swirling for some time, with Deadline reporting last fall that Penelope Cruz had joined the cast. Will Ferrell will also reportedly return as the nefarious designer Mugatu, while Justin Theroux wrote the script. It's unclear whether Stiller will once again direct.

While specific plot details are scarce, Zoolander 2 will likely find Derek and Hansel trying to return to the modeling world after a long absence. In a 2010 interview with MTV, Stiller said, "In the fashion world, if you go away for a year, it’s changed — it just happens so quickly. I think the idea in the beginning of the movie is that it's 10 years later, and Derek and Hansel are literally forgotten. Nobody remembers who they are, so they have to reinvent themselves."

Amidst his numerous production projects, Stiller is set to star alongside Naomi Watts in Noah Baumbach's upcoming film, While We're Young, which sees release on March 27th. The pair play a couple of fortysomethings who attempt to stave off the inevitability of old age after befriending a Brooklyn-hipster couple played played by Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried.
