Celebrity makeup artist Alison Christian created the look using Clinique products and told HollywoodLife.com about the inspiration: “Megan’s dress was reminiscent of the 1940s and old Hollywood glamour. To complement that theme, we created a feminine look for her makeup and hair.”

Here’s how to get the look:

“The emphasis was on porcelain skin, winged linger and a red lip, which Meghan feels her best in. We made sure to keep the whole makeup look relatively young because after all, she’s only 21! I prepped her skin and applied Moisture Surge CC Cream Compact for that dewy and bright finish. I contoured a bit using the Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour to add some definition, and then dusted a bright pink blush (Cheek Pop in Berry Pop) on the apples of her cheeks.


For eyes, we loved the drama of ultra-long lashes and a warm shadow look. Meghan loves her winged liner, so I applied the Eye Defining Liquid Liner in Black for a sleek cat-eye. Because Meghan has such fair skin, we love a pop of color for her lips. We swiped on the Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Heftiest Hibiscus for extra moisture to make sure her lips stay hydrated all night. Celebrity Manicurist Kimmie Kyees created a heart shaped design on Meghan’s nails just in time for Valentine’s Day!

She used Red Carpet Manicure Candid Moments Gel Polish as the base and Red Carpet Manicure’s Ruby Gel Polish to create the red heart tips.

“First, I prepped Meghan’s acrylic nails by filing, buffing & shaping into a point. Next, I used Red Carpet Manicure Prep, applied Red Carpet Manicure’s Structure Base Gel Coat and cured in Red Carpet manicure’s LED light for 30 seconds.

Next, I painted a coat of Red Carpet Manicure’s Candid Moments Gel Polish and cured for 45 seconds. Repeated for second coat.

Then using a striper brush, I placed a small dot of Red Carpet Manicure Ruby Gel Polish to the free edge. This tip marks the center of the heart.

Now play connect the dots! Using a striper brush, pull the color up to an even arch on both sides. Then color inside the lines using Red Carpet Manicure Ruby Gel Polish, then I added super fine red loose glitter to the heart, and cured for 45 seconds.

Apply Red Carpet Manicure Brilliance Top Coat, cure for 45 seconds.

Remove tacky residue with Red Carpet Manicure Purify Pre & Post Application Cleanser.”
